Selection tip:
For bottles below 500 ml, KSY45 is usually the most efficient. For 500 ml–2 L daily chemical or pharma bottles, choose KSY50 to obtain more production headroom. Every KSY45 / KSY50 unit pairs with a matched custom blow mold designed for your bottle.

Common Features & Advantages

Both machines share the same platform, so spare parts, layout and operation remain consistent.

S

Siemens PLC control

Touch screen HMI with recipe storage and clear parameter setting for each mould.

D

3.8 s dry cycle

Fast and stable dry cycle time creates a reliable base for calculating bottle output.

C

Compact footprint

Very small floor area. Suitable for clean cosmetic or pharmaceutical packaging workshops.

T

Closed-loop temperature

Multiple temperature zones keep the parison at a consistent temperature for stable production.

E

Energy-efficient drive

Hydraulic or servo drive available depending on customer requirement and local energy policy.

M

Simple maintenance

Modular layout makes cleaning, screw changes and basic maintenance faster.

Main Applications

Ideal for bottles from 5 ml to 2 L in cosmetic, pharma and daily chemical packaging. These bottles are typically finished with a neck trimming machine and bundled on a bottle packing machine before shipping.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between KSY45 and KSY50?
KSY45 is rated for products up to 1.8 L, while KSY50 handles up to 2 L. KSY50 also has higher plasticizing capacity, which is useful for larger bottles or more cavities.
Which model is better for cosmetic bottles?
For bottles below 500 ml, KSY45 is often the best balance of precision and cost. For larger cosmetic bottles or higher output, a KSY50 is recommended.
Can these machines process food-grade or medical materials?
Yes. HDPE, PP, PETG and other standard packaging resins can be processed. Please specify the main material when requesting a quote so KSY provides the correct screw and barrel configuration.
Do you provide installation support?
Yes. Installation supervision, operator training and technical support are available. The exact schedule depends on machine configuration and the customer site.
What is the dry cycle time?
The standard dry cycle time for both KSY45 and KSY50 is 3.8 s. Final bottle output is determined by mould cooling, cavity count and wall thickness.
